Our Music

Every reputable DJ and music service we know has a wide selection of music.  So do we.  What sets us apart is how we use that music.  Remember that at most we'll be able to squeeze in around 15 songs per hour.  In a typical 4-hour event, that's only 60 songs.  Will those other companies get you and your guests moving on the dance floor?  We WILL!  We have both the music AND the experience to know when to play it.  (Our mobile music library is now in excess of 23,651 songs.  Go to the MusicList page to download song lists or to search our online database.)

For most events, the idea is to get the participants dancing.  For those situations, we play up-tempo danceable music in 15-20 minute "sets".  Each set reflects a particular style or genre of music, with the sets separated by a couple of slower tunes that allow a little "cheek-to-cheek" action and a transition to the next set.  In this way we can play enough music of each style to please all of the participants.

By the way, in keeping with our desire to please your guests, we will solicit music requests (unless you object), playing them in the appropriate sets.  This allows the guests to feel more involved in the event, which results in happier guests and pleasant memories.

And do we have the latest music?  You betcha!  We subscribe to TM Century Prime Cuts music service.  Each week they send us the latest charting singles in the CHR, AC/HAC, Dance, Country, Urban, Rock/Alternative, Jazz, Latin, and Christian formats (format definitions).  This keeps our music library fresh, and ensures that we'll have your requests.

In the case of corporate banquets and specialized theme-based events where dancing may not be the emphasis, we'll work with you to provide music segments appropriate to your theme.
